Isaak Bowers
Communications Officer
Isaak Bowers is a Communications Officer with IISD’s Economic Law and Policy program. Isaak is the communications and media lead for IISD's Sustainable Investment team. In this role, Isaak is the communications lead for IISD's work on the Energy Charter Treaty–recognized by Financial Times, the Guardian, and Politico–and corporate sustainability due diligence, as highlighted by Forbes and FDI Intelligence.
Prior to joining IISD, Isaak has worked as a press officer for the European Commission, a public affairs consultant, and a news reporter for media outlets including The Times, Business Insider Nordic, and Sydsvenska Dagbladet.
Isaak holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Lund University, Sweden, and a Master’s degree in international politics from City University of London.
Isaak is based in the United Kingdom and speaks English, Swedish, and German.
